Depois de uma espera de quase cinco meses, foi hoje o dia da colheita da batata-doce.
Este
ano, seguindo o método de um agricultor brasileiro (que vi no Youtube), em vez
de plantar a rama de batata-doce no solo, fi-lo em sacos reutilizados, que enchi de terra e composto vegetal produzido cá na horta.
Tudo a postos!
Mal abri o primeiro saco, o fruto do trabalho e dedicação investidos ao longo de meses...
Prontas para a lavagem!
Com este novo método, por
um lado, foi mais fácil recolher folhas e rebentos para cozinhados; por outro, foi
muito mais confortável a colheita final das raízes.

produção foi um sucesso!
